摘要: Electrical recordings of the spontaneous seizure are perhaps most important source information regarding initiation and propagation. While discharges that occur may be obvious, their interpretation is sometimes very difficult. This paper reviews computational procedures have been devised to analyze propagation patterns focal epileptic seizures via EEG measurements with macroscopic electrodes. Thus far, efforts rather straightforward applications signal processing methods such as detection, digital filtering, auto-spectral cross-spectral analysis. Generally speaking, these invoke minimal assumptions mechanisms, might best described computer aids objective, accurate measurement occurrence or interrelationship epileptiform signals. The need for computer-aided analysis especially evident when not forthcoming from visual inspection, example [1] signals interest obscured by noise artifacts due recording process behavioral seizure, [2] there rapid and/or complicated discharge, [3] sites sufficiently remote site activity require some means enhancement localization source, [4] relationship simultaneously occurring important.
