摘要: A process and apparatus for removing SO 2 from a gas stream having the steps of scrubbing with an ammonia solution any aerosols generated by in wet electrostatic precipitator. The is maintained at pH between 6 8 to increase speed absorption , Increase ratio sulfite bisulfite which also facilitates oxidation avoid need use exotic, corrosion resistant alloys. Ammonium sulfate, valuable fertilizer, can be withdrawn solution.
