摘要: Poisson-Boltzmann (PB) theory is the classic approach to soft matter electrostatics which has been applied numerous problems of physical chemistry and biophysics. Its essential limitations are neglect correlation effects fluid structure. Recently, several theoretical insights have allowed formulation approaches that go beyond PB in a systematic way. In this topical review we provide an update on developments achieved self-consistent formulations correlation-corrected theory. We introduce corresponding system coupled nonlinear equations for both continuum with uniform dielectric constant structured solvent, dipolar Coulomb fluid, including nonlocal effects. While only approximate also limited corrections so-called weak fluctuation regime, it allows include physically relevant effects, as show range applications these equations.
