摘要: The systematic killing of dependent offspring by replacing males in various mammals represents one the most dramatic consequences sexual conflict interest yet discovered (Hrdy, 1974; Fossey, 1984; Packer and Pusey, 1984). Females suffering such losses often come into estrous a shorter time interval then would occur if their infants had been allowed to mature. Consequently, replacement male increases number he sires fathered previous male. Hrdy (1979) Sherman (1981) provide reviews infanticide Hausfater (1984) have edited an entire book on that includes many papers evaluating selection as cause infanticide.
