摘要: This article reviews the etiology, pathology, description, risk factors, prevention, medical and surgical management, complications of pressure ulcers. Pressure ulcers, which develop primarily from shear, are also known as decubitus bed sores, sores. They continue to occur in hospitals, nursing homes, among disabled persons community. Estimates prevalence ulcers hospitalized patients range 3% 14% up 25% homes. Persons with spinal cord injury elderly two groups at high risk. The most common sites development sacrum, ischium, trochanters, about ankles heels. Areas ongoing research such electrical stimulation growth factors discussed.
