摘要: Abstract Changes in the rates of synthesis three enzymes phenyl-propanoid biosynthesis Phaseolus vulgaris L. (dwarf French bean) have been investigated by immunoprecipitation [35S]methionine-labeled enzyme subunits with mono-specific antisera. Elicitor causes marked, rapid but transient co-ordinated increases rate phenyl-alanine ammonia-lyase, chalcone synthase and isomerase concomitant phase increase activity at onset accumulation phenyl-propanoid-derived phytoalexin antibiotics suspension cultures P. vulgaris. Co-ordinate induction is also observed hypocotyl tissue during race:cultivar-specific interactions Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, causal agent anthracnose. In an incompatible interaction (host resistant) there are early apparently localized to initial site infection prior expression hypersensitive resistance. contrast, a compatible susceptible) no stages infection, delayed widespread response lesion formation associated attempted limitation. It concluded that defense biologically stressed cells characteristically involves co-ordinate biosynthetic enzymes.
