摘要: Abstract Natural and chemically treated chicken feathers (CF) were tested for their ability, as adsorbents, to remove copper zinc from wastewater. Alkaline solutions of 0.2 N NaOH found be the best sorption process a 0.6 wt% solution dodecyl sulfate, anionic surfactant, also gave adsorption results. Treatment CF with alkaline adsorb more metal ions than those surfactant followed by untreated CF. Generally, kinetics removal all sorbents was fast. The Freundlich isotherm model represent equilibrium results, adsorbents toward zinc, reasonably well.
