摘要: The addition of a cerebral blood volume (CBV) compartment in the [18F]2-fluoro-2-deoxy-d-glucose (FDG) model produces estimates local CBV simultaneously with glucose metabolic rates when kinetic FDG studies are performed. We investigated influence this term upon CMRglc values series brain tumor patients and found that significant overestimations possible if effect is ignored. magnitude potential over-estimation directly related to absolute value locally inversely value. also permitted an evaluation environment variable disruption blood–brain barrier. Incorporating vascular frequently improved statistical accuracy fits tissue data. sampling requirements for configuration were computer simulations.
