摘要: Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) acquires a series of projection images from different angles as an x-ray source rotates around the breast. Such imaging geometry lends DBT naturally to stereoscopic viewing two with reasonable separation angle can easily form stereo pair. This simulation study assessed efficacy images. Three-dimensional computational phantoms realistically shaped synthetic lesions were scanned by three simulated systems. The combined into sequence pairs and presented stereomatching-based model observer for deciding lesion presence. Signal-to-noise ratio was estimated, detection performance stack reconstructed slices benchmark. We have shown that: (1) stereo may underperform current geometries; (2) DBT geometries impact modes differently: narrow-arc wide-arc be better viewing, respectively; (3) the more robust than reductions in dose. While principle is potentially effective visualizing data, require specifically optimized image acquisition.
