摘要: Based on morphological, anatomical, ecological, ethological, and molecular traits, two new genera of microhylid frogs from mainland New Guinea are described. Metamagnusia gen. n. includes species, M. marani sp. n., the type species found in Wondiwoi Mountains at base Wandammen Peninsula (Papua Province, Indonesia), slateri (Loveridge, 1955) comb. eastern Guinea). The second genus, Pseudocallulops also P. eurydactylus (Zweifel, 1972) Fakfak Bomberai pullifer (Gunther, 2006) which is designated as occurs Peninsula. Both belong to group asterophryine with a symphignathine state maxillary bones. most closely related genus Asterophrys, while forms sister-clade taxa Asterophrys + Metamagnusia. erected recognize their differences fundamental traits presently recognized genera. Another goal was dissolve polyphyletic avoid creation paraphyletic within Australopapuan microhylids. (© 2009 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
