摘要: Abstract The focus of this study was on the reinforcement and reinforcing mechanism organically modified silica in styrene–butadiene rubber (SBR). It shown that antioxidant 2-mercaptobenzimidazole (MB) (silica-s-MB) exhibited better dispersion SBR than silane-modified (m-silica) interfacial interaction SBR/silica-s-MB nanocomposites stronger SBR/m-silica nanocomposites, leading to a remarkable improvement mechanical properties for compared with those containing equivalent component. Based analysis large strain behavior mechanisms silica-s-MB m-silica were comparatively investigated. found physical entanglements between crosslinked chains immobilized polymer layer organic molecules grafted surface played an important role rubber, which may be useful rational design filler modification.
