摘要: This paper is concerned with the performance of shell finite elements, well established in locking‐free computations linear constitutive laws, case non‐linear elastic material behaviour. Specifically enhanced strain elements are focused on. It shown that element behaviour depends on resulting form stress tensor. Phenomenological models for highly and elastically deforming rubber, like Odgen, compared statistical‐based model developed by Arruda Boyce. Whereas Odgen or any equivalent phenomenological prove unstable, when statistical applied, to be superior. The attributed mathematical
