摘要: Study Type – Therapy (case series) Level of Evidence 4 OBJECTIVE • To assess the content validity an early prototype robotic simulator. Minimally invasive surgery poses challenges for training future surgeons. The Robotic Surgical Simulator (RoSS) is a novel virtual reality simulator da Vinci System. PATIENTS AND METHODS • Participants attending 2010 International Urology Symposium were invited to experience RoSS. Afterwards, participants completed survey regarding appropriateness as teaching tool. RESULTS • Forty-two subjects including surgeons experienced with robotics (n= 31) and novices 11) participated in this study. • Eighty per cent entire cohort had average 4 years robot-assisted surgery. • Eleven (26%) lacked independent experience. expert group comprised 17 (41%) averaging 881 (160–2200) cases. Experts rated ‘clutch control’ simulation task good (71%) or excellent (29%) tool. • Seventy-eight ‘ball place’ but 22% it poor. • Twenty-seven ‘needle removal’ tool, 60% 13% poor. • Ninety-one ‘fourth arm tissue excellent. • Ninety-four responded that RoSS would be useful purposes. • Eighty-eight felt appropriate testing format before operating room residents. • Seventy-nine indicated could used privileging certifying surgery. CONCLUSION • Results based on evaluation modality illustrate has validity.
