摘要: ABSTRACTThe present study explored the grief experience among callers to Ontario Veterinary College Pet Loss Support Hotline (PLSH). Summary notes (n = 75) of conversations between and PLSH volunteers were qualitatively analyzed using content analysis. Major categories emerging from analysis include personal pet narrative; perceived support sources; experiences; relationship with pet; memorialization; coping strategies; triggers; decision euthanize; veterinary interaction.
