摘要: The purpose of this study was to investigate the uptake and cytotoxic effects magnetic poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA)-coated iron oxide nanoparticles as a carrier 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) X-ray on level proliferation capacity DU145 prostate carcinoma cell line in monolayer culture. Following culture, DU 145 cells were treated with different concentrations 5-FU or loaded for 24 h 2Gy (6 Mega-voltage (MV)). rate penetration then measured using atomic adsorption spectroscopy (AAS). cytotoxicity effect these with/ without radiation evaluated colony formation assay. Spectroscopy results showed that content therefore cellular increased increasing nanoparticle concentrations. Further, decreased increase 5- FU combination radiation. However extent reduction number following treatment 5-FU-loaded megavoltage significantly more than free 5-FU. Thus, drug-loaded could deliver efficiently into cells. PLGA coated are effective drug delivery vehicles biocompatible coating is an appropriate surface can penetrate
