摘要: Modelling floods and flood-related disasters has become priority for many researchers practitioners. Currently, there are several options that can be used modelling in urban areas the present work attempts to investigate effectiveness of different model formulations supercritical transcritical flow conditions. In our work, we use following three methods one-dimensional (1D) flows: MIKE 11 model, Kutija’s method, Roe scheme. We two two-dimensional (2D) MIKE21 a non-inertia 2D model. Apart from MIKE11 models, code all other models was developed purposes work. The performance evaluated using hypothetical case studies with intention representing some configurations found floodplains. does not go into assessment these various topographical features may on floodplains, but rather focuses how they perform simulating flows. overall findings simplified which ignore convective acceleration terms (CATs) momentum equations effectively flood plains without significant loss accuracy.
