摘要: Abstract A direct, in-situ TEM technique was employed to demonstrate that under otherwise identical conditions the lattice parameter of palladium particles in 1–2 nm size range (supported random orientation on ex-situ prepared muscovite mica) is expanded by (2.9 + 0.2)% when compared 5 mean which case believed have reached bulk value. The expansion not due pseudomorphism and considered only secondarily be a effect. It instead primarily transformation 1.5 as-deposited Pd with predominantly composite crystal structures into larger true fcc structure inherently smaller parameter.
