摘要: Purpose. Recognition that recovery from schizophrenia may involve a deepening of the experience being in world has led to possibility psychotherapy play key role treatment by enhancing metacognition, or capacity think about thinking. While potential enhance metacognition non-psychotic disorders been discussed depth, little written how systematically address schizophrenia. Accordingly, current paper formulates model might one specific element namely self-reflectivity. Methods. Procedures are outlined for assessing clients' self-reflectivity within narrative contexts during psychotherapy. Results. Targeted interventions identified which tailored capacities moment and assist clients their own thinking at level they capable. This lead over time develop greater ability engage acts increasingly complex self-reflectivity. Conclusions. Individual can be modified utilized persons with move towards assisting them self-reflectivity. having fuller themselves as richer more coherent personal narrative.
