摘要: Aim To determine association between tuberculosis (TB) related stigma and delay in seeking a treatment after the onset of symptoms associated with tuberculosis. Methods This prospective study was carried out „Podhrastovi“ University Clinic Lung Diseases Tuberculosis Health facilities for lung diseases Sarajevo area. The sample consisted 300 patients. Between patients who consider TB stigmatizing disease did not distribution patient compared. Results Of total 79 (26.3%) considered socially disease. Among them 43 (54.4%) were females 36 (45.6%) males. age group 18-24 years, nine (50%) compared to seven (12.3%) among 65-75 years. university degree, (64.3%) that had no education, one (9.1%) declared as average time interval from appearance first until visit health care facility those 6.41 weeks it 4.99 weeks.
