摘要: Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death in western world among women with gynecological malignancies. Unfortunately, survival rates for patients ovarian have not significantly improved many decades (Norris and Murphy 1932; Moench 1933; Lynch 1936; Lingeman 1974; Cutler et al. 1975). Inasmuch as majority advanced clinical stages (FIGO, Stage III or IV) at time diagnosis it surprising that overall poor these unfortunate patients. More discouraging fact least 30% early stage disease, purportedly confined to ovaries pelvis, do survive (Bagley 1972). Accurate staging cancer, initial operative procedure, essential planning appropriate treatment comparing results different modalities indicating prognosis (American Joint Committee 1977; Buchsbaum Lifshitz 1984). Understaging unfortunately inadequate therapy which turn compromises an already tentuous situation.
