摘要: The interactive visualization of large biological assemblies poses a number challenging problems, including the development multiresolution representations and new interaction methods for navigating analyzing these complex systems. An additional challenge is flexible software environments that will facilitate integration interoperation computational models techniques from wide variety scientific disciplines. In this paper, we present component-based strategy centered on high-level, object-oriented, interpretive programming language: Python. We several components, discuss their integration, describe some features are relevant to molecular assemblies. Several examples given illustrate components structural data experimental sources. These how combining visual with facilitates rapid prototyping novel tools.
