摘要: Current generation portable computers and instruments utilize backlit LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays). These displays have also appeared in applications ranging from medical equipment to automobiles, gas pumps retail terminals. Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFLs) provide the highest available efficiency for backlighting display. lamps require high voltage AC operate, mandating an efficient DC/AC converter. In addition good efficiency, converter should deliver lamp drive sine wave form. This is desirable minimize RF emissions. Such emissions can cause interference with other devices, as well degrading overall operating efficiency. The excitation provides optimal current-to-light conversion lamp. circuit permit control zero full brightness no hysteresis or “pop-on,” must regulate intensity vs power supply variations.
