摘要: With a simple reaction pathway, polymerizable solvatochromic dye monomer was synthesized. Copolymerization of this with NiPAAM leads to formation copolymer lower critical solution temperature (LCST) behavior. This resulting visualizes via red-orange color change (a) the LCST phase transition and (b) host−guest interaction cyclodextrin simply by naked eye. Actually, these effects are completely reversible.
