摘要: Research shows criminal code laws negatively affect the health and safety of sex workers hinders their ability to access protective other services. Less is known about workers’ views on how improve occupational broader social rights. This paper aims help fill in this knowledge gap. In 2017, a cross-section active (N = 60) from Victoria, Canada, were interviewed personal work lives under Canada’s 2014 law, Bill C-36, Protection Communities Exploited Persons Act (PCEPA). Thematic analysis was carried out using participants’ (n = 57) who answered these two open-ended questions: What changes are needed health, rights for workers? would be your dream list services need right now? Participants recommended elimination law governing consensual work, policy change main areas: (1) (2) non-judgmental protective, community Sex an important source insight regarding unintended consequences PCEPA its stated commitment ensure protection Consensual adult sexual commerce should decriminalized governed by welfare policies, just as service jobs.
