Sensation Seeking, Motivation, and Substance Use: A Dual System Approach

摘要: This article extends conceptualizations of sensation seeking as a function an overactive appetitive motivational system and weakly active aversive system. Using Cacioppo's model (Cacioppo, Gardner, & Bernston, 1999) emotion, is conceptualized positivity offset negativity bias. Positivity the degree to which more than in neutral environment.
