摘要: There is a need to develop contemporary and internationally accepted conceptual description of physical rehabilitation medicine (PRM). The process evolving such definition can now rely on the unifying model taxonomy International Classification Functioning, Disability Health (ICF) an ICF-based understood as health strategy. PRM section European Union Medical Specialists (UEMS) has endorsed application ICF for supports moving towards "ICF-based according definitions PRM". With this goal in mind, authors have developed first tentative co-operation with professional practice committee UEMS-PRM-section. A respective brief describes medical specialty that, based assessment functioning including diagnosis treatment conditions, performs, applies co-ordinates biomedical engineering wide range other interventions optimizing people experiencing or likely experience disability.
