摘要: Diagnosis of Sinus condition is considered a difficult task in medical clinics due to the similar nature symptoms and complexity images (e.g. plane image, resolution) obtained using either CT-Scan. Discussions with consultant doctors radiologists working this area pointed at need for computer-based analysis diagnosis tool that could be used as an aid experts diagnosing sinus diseases. There are number tools traditional image processing techniques primarily useful enhancing images. For integrated system potential diagnostic abilities artificial neural networks good candidates can combine single system. This paper presents background preliminary results development automated conditions. The data form CT scan sinus. Technology based on Artificial Neural Networks (SOM) explored diagnosis. Anonymous CT-images Sinuses were from local hospital. Preliminary show proposed has clinicians areas training junior doctors.
