摘要: This article presents the results of a study to derive preference-based single index from SF-36. The was an attempt reconcile profile health status measure, SF-36, with "quality adjusted life years" approach. undertook parsimonious restructuring SF-36 using explicit criteria form SF-6D state classification. A sample multidimensional states defined by this classification were valued convenience professionals, managers, and patients, who responded set visual analogue scale ratings standard gamble questions, highly complete consistent answers. Statistical models estimated predict scores for all 9000 new resultant algorithms can be applied existing data sets used in assessment cost-effectiveness technologies. preliminary work forms basis larger currently being undertaken UK.
