摘要: Abstract The microstructure evolution during mechanical milling was studied in the CuZrAl system. compositions lay on two liquidus surfaces indicating different solidification processes three alloys. Cu (55 − x) Zr (35 + x) Al 10 (x = 0; 5; 10 at.%) master alloys were produced by arc melting. After identification of phases, milled for 25 h and amorphous/crystalline powders synthesized. contained 21 28 51 , AlCu 2 Zr, CuZr traces 7 phases volume fractions. optimal time determined to be 15 h based results X-ray diffractometry (XRD) differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) examinations. 5 h powder which diminished due further resulting amorphous matrix composite with nanosized phase. thermal stability samples investigated DSC. peak temperatures first crystallization process as-milled shifted as function polynomial curves fitted measured points.
