Atypical antipsychotics and diabetic ketoacidosis: a review

摘要: Atypical antipsychotics have been linked to weight gain and type 2 diabetes, but are also associated with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), which can occur more acutely in the absence of gain. Our aim was review current case reports DKA context atypical antipsychotic treatment better understand (a) scope problem, (b) its relationship different agents, (c) risk factors, (d) long-term outcome, (e) putative mechanisms action.
