摘要: Infections by gastrointestinal nematodes cause significant losses in the production of ruminants. Intensification process tends to enhance effects parasitosis. Easy access for producers anthelmintics, addition poor professional assistance, has led indiscriminate use these chemicals and, consequently, parasite resistance, reducing effectiveness treatment. Compounding issue there is a trend towards valorization organic products, originating from systems where chemotherapics restricted or prohibited. This context emphasizes importance alternative approaches based on: management livestock and pastures, biological control parasites, stimulation immunological response host phytotherapy. There are some promising methods future utilization others viable immediate application, which, combined with conventional can guarantee success sustainability controlling nematodiasis.
