摘要: This paper explores the link between perceived egalitarianism in dating relationships and several social-psychological factors that characterize intimate relationships. Data from a sample of nonmarried college students (N=328) suggest such as trust, commitment, other orientation, dependency are strongly related to egalitarianism, but comparative resources generally not significantly It is suggested here various interpersonal values operate may disguise or counteract inequality heterosexual These findings importance moving beyond social-exchange perspective order understand power focusing on role play this process.
