摘要: The goal of this article is to briefly review and summarize the rationale research support for cognitivebehavioral therapy (CBT) as a treatment depressed adolescents. A primary focus paper on our group CBT adolescent depression, entitled “The Adolescent Coping with Depression Course”. In addition, initial findings from large, recently-completed study contrasting individual with fluoxetine adolescents (Treatment Adolescents Study) are presented. Although generally encouraging, we need better understand which benefit CBT, how when incorporate medication family-based interventions into treatment, treat comorbid psychiatric conditions, fare non-European-American depressed adolescents.
