摘要: In the autumn of 2006 (September 20 - December 20, 2006) two cyclonic rings merged to form a larger ring in central Gulf Mexico (GMx). An anticyclonic and Loop Current aided this merger. The different rotational were compared sea level anomaly (SLA) magnitude as well chlorophyll (CLA) signal. encompasses positive CLA, while both loop current usually feature negative CLA. Coastal advection also occurred time frame, with large CLA signature that extended from Yucatan Peninsula ring. Throughout entire 2006, respective SLA features GMx possess indicating qualitative correlation is present during time.
