摘要: Spatial and temporal genetic structures were examined across sites on islands mainland (continuous forest) populations of an epiphytic orchid, Catasetum viridiflavum, using 17 polymorphic allozyme loci. I tested whether patches or at comprised small local a large population. Low among population differentiation was observed the landscape suggesting that species-specific pollinator tiny wind-dispersed seeds maintain interconnections distant patches. Temporal structure stage classes, breeding individuals are important components maintenance variation in this orchid. The natural history species including populations, probable high frequency mating relatives, rates seed movement contribute to FIS. These data show physically isolated orchid comprise single larger population, which is independent physical distances sites. Although quite different ecological life characteristics, demonstrates pattern similar temperate tropical trees fragmented landscapes.
