摘要: Light and electron microscopic features in the presenile dementia that occurred a 54 year old woman with Down9s syndrome were identical to those of Alzheimer9s dementia. In both diseases, senile plaques neurofibrillary tangles fill cerebral cortex are scattered through subcortical brainstem nuclei. Although is ill-defined clinically, marked histologic changes so predictably age-related this condition offers many insights into sequences aging degeneration human brain.
