摘要: It has recently been suggested that FDG accumulation in the brown adipose tissue varies as a function of age, sex and outdoor temperature. The aim this study was to assess changes uptake fat patients based on serial PET/CT scans compare our results with previous findings. Early response neoadjuvant chemotherapy 33 female breast cancer assessed by PET. Five were performed for each patient. images analysed retrospectively. PET considered positive when diffuse, symmetrical, abnormal “USA” (uptake supraclavicular area) detected. A total 163 analysed. Seventy-four (45%) revealed area. These foci present uncorrected attenuation-corrected images. identical all five only patients. No significant relationship found between temperature, age or time interval Abnormal neck seemed predominantly occur low body mass index (p<0.05). Most scan observed during docetaxel When observed, bilateral more intense than background (p<0.00001). This shows time, it is unrelated generally intense.
