摘要: PURPOSE To assess the efficacy of radiofrequency-assisted endofistulectomy in patients with lacrimal fistulae communicating sac. METHODS Retrospective interventional case series undergoing endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy from June 2016 to January 2020 were studied. The indications associated refractory complex congenital nasolacrimal duct obstructions and primary-acquired obstruction. communication sac was ascertained. Specific surgical parameters technique used, variables assessed include patient demographics, clinical presentation, indications, technique, recurrences, outcomes. RESULTS Six eyes 6 mean age 23.33 years underwent endofistulectomy. found be minimally invasive, easy perform multiple advantages like absence a skin incision, targeting complete extent fistula, closure external internal openings fistulae. At 4 weeks, ostium well mucosalized patent dynamic common canalicular opening. fistula site had healed no epiphora or discharge residual scarring. CONCLUSION Radiofrequency-assisted is invasive viable alternative incisional fistulectomy select group acquired which communicate
