摘要: Scalable Web servers can be built using a network of workstations where server capacity extended by adding new as the workload increases. The topic our article is comparison different method to do load-balancing HTTP traffic for scalable servers. We present classification framework methods and compare their performance. In addition, we evaluate in detail one class prototype implementation with instruction-level analysis processing overhead. based on trace driven simulation traces from large ISP (Internet Service Provider) Norway. model used analyze schemes redirection request mapping between canonical name (CNAME) IP address. latter vulnerable spatial temporal locality, although set used, impact locality limited. best performance obtained network.
