摘要: Genes that are important for normal development and differentiation of tissues often deregulated in cancers originate from tissue. An example a gene is both required skin differentiation, which during tumorigenesis the transcription factor p63. During epidermal postnatal epidermis, p63 controls various processes including basement membrane formation, keratinocyte adhesion, terminal barrier formation. When expression deregulated, these do not occur normally, resulting oncogenic transformation. In this chapter, we will review role as well cancer.
