摘要: The selection of optimal technology for surface mining mineral deposits is a standarddecision-making problem. aim this paper to demonstrate the potential thecombined AHP and ELECTRE methods in selecting usingthe open pit coal mine “Ugljevik East” (Ugljevik Istok) as an example. In order toresolve problems encountered, three types technologies were taken intoconsideration with regards eight criteria solution. Thecriteria include most important aspects technologies, suchas geology geotechnical engineering, ecology, economy, etc. addition, isused analyse structure process determine thesignificance impact certain process, while ELECTREmethod used final ranking alternatives. obtained results indicate thatthe proposed combined method provides extraordinary that it can be various, even complex occur engineering.
