摘要: Introduction Current pharmacological therapies for dementia have limited efficacy. Thus it is important to provide recommendations on individual and community-based psychosocial non-pharmacological interventions persons living with (PLWDs) their caregivers. Methods Phase 1: A systematic review developing at the community level PLWDs 2: Rating of using Grading Recommendations Assessment, Development Evaluation (GRADE) guidelines. 3: Delphi process (>50 experts) approving by 5th Canadian Consensus Conference Diagnosis Treatment Dementia (CCCDTD5). Results The CCCDTD5 approved following recommendations: Exercise (1B) group cognitive stimulation (2B), psychoeducational caregivers (2C), development friendly organization communities case management (2B). Discussion provides first time, evidence-based that can inform policies in Canada.
