摘要: Abstract Copper(II) hydroxide sulfate was synthesized by a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method from mixed solution of CuSO 4 and urea. Needle-like crystals ca. 20–30 μm in length precipitated irradiating microwave for 1 min were characterized as Cu 3 (OH) SO corresponding to mineral antlerite. The reaction pathway kinetics the thermal decomposition synthetic antlerite investigated means thermoanalytical techniques complemented powder X-ray diffractometry microscopic observations. proceeded via two separated steps dehydroxylation desulfation produce CuO, where crystalline phases 2 OSO CuO appeared intermediate products. kinetic characteristics respective discussed comparison with those brochantite 6 reported previously.
