Characterization of Erythrosin B-Doped Sol-Gel Materials for Oxygen Sensing in Aqueous Solutions

摘要: We have studied the luminescence and spectroscopic properties of erythrosin B-doped sol-gel silica in aqueous solutions. Stern-Volmer plot was obtained for phosphorescence intensity as a function dissolved oxygen content. Leaching dye molecules from matrix examined by absorption spectroscopy. That acid-catalysed materials leach slowly based-catalysed rapidly revealed. Absorption data indicated existence two leaching rate constants. Finally we demonstrated that sensor had response time faster than 30 ms.
