摘要: Abstract Mononuclear Mn(II) coordination compound, [Mn(H2L)Cl2] (1), was synthesized by the reaction of H2L and MnCl2·4H2O in methanol where is tridentate ONO-donor hydrazone ligand [H2L = (E)-N'-(2-hydroxy-5-iodobenzylidene)isonicotinohydrazide]. The with presence excess amount NaN3 gave an azido bridged dinuclear Mn(III) [Mn2(L)(μ-N3)2(CH3OH)2] (2), whereas low NaN3, a phenolate [Mn2(HL)2(CH3OH)2Cl2]·CH3OH (3), obtained. These compounds were characterized elemental analysis, spectroscopic methods, single crystal X-ray analysis magnetic measurements. structural studies indicated that coordinated as 1–3 behave neutral, dianionic monoanionic 1, 2 3, respectively. There good agreement between properties structures compounds. Several synthetic attempts azide anion has considerable effect on formation compound which attributed to its general basic properties. Magnetic measurements indicate molecules ferromagnetic intramolecular couplings case 3 well much weaker distributed antiferromagnetic interactions among units these
