摘要: Plasmonics-based polarizers are important for many photonic devices and applications. In this paper, we design investigate the characteristics of a new TM-pass/TE-stop polarizer using silver nanograting exponentially tapered slit sidewalls. Performance designed is determined through monitoring modification its insertion loss, return extinction ratio, far-field transform due to changing structural parameters. We find that parameters reported such as sidewall tapering coefficient opening widths have significant impact on tuning characteristics.
