摘要: The NavChair Assistive Wheelchair Navigation System is being developed to reduce the cognitive and physical requirements of operating a power wheelchair for people with wide ranging impairments that limit their access powered mobility. based on commercial system addition DOS-based computer system, ultrasonic sensors, an interface module interposed between joystick wheelchair. obstacle avoidance routines used by in conjunction sensors are modifications methods originally mobile robotics research. currently employs three modes: general avoidance, door passage, automatic wall following. Results from performance testing these modes demonstrate functionality. In additional advancing technology smart wheelchairs, has application development "shared control" systems where human machine share control can automatically adapt behaviors.
