摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate 1) long-term results ankle fractures with a posterior malleolar fragment, and 2) the need for fixation fragments smaller than 25%. Forty-five patients fragment were evaluated. Mean follow-up 13 years (range, 2-24). size registered. Outcome assessed using an Ankle Fracture Scoring System (maximum: 150 points), 10-point Numeric Scale Pain (1 = no pain, 10 unbearable pain) OsteoArthritis Score (0 osteoarthritis, 3 severe osteoarthritis). mean System, Osteoarthritis-score 124, 2.5, 1.2, respectively. fixated significantly larger that nonfixated (30% versus 16%). Those in which did not have statistically significant better outcome those (Ankle System: 119 126, Pain: 2.6 2.4, Osteoarthritis-score: 1.0 1.2). There correlation between unfixated fragments. Fracture-dislocation seen more often combination (24% 15%) resulted worse nondislocated fractures, except pain 115 134, 1.7 0.8). In conclusion, showed good after there evidence
