摘要: Abstract An open question in mental workload assessment concerns the impact of endogenous factors upon perceived load a performance task. To examine one element this question, twenty-four subjects (12 male, 12 female) performed simple time estimation task at four different times day (0800, 1200, 1600, 2000h). Following each session, completed NASA TLX scales. Performance data and physiological response follow patterns previously observed literature. Female had greater intolerance for repetitive Five twelve female failed to complete series exposures. There were no drop-outs among male subjects. Analysis remaining responses indicated that rated effort frustration significantly higher lower than their counterparts. For subjective there order interactions significant effects found day. Caution concerning ubiquitous application these findings is advised light number potentially confounding influences.
