摘要: In the light of a number reports about otologic symptoms in chronic renal failure, hemodialysis and kidney transplantation we report findings greater material. The material comprises total 281 patients, 19 regular, longtime 262 with one or more transplantations. frequency was 10%, corresponding to 26 which 3 had Alport's syndrome not investigated further. group significantly hemodialysis, marginally larger amounts ototoxic medication. Otherwise groups do diverge. When disregarding 6 where other explanation patients is likely (hemodynamic conditions connection operation, congenital hearing loss case Meniere's disease), find that medication probably main cause symptoms. particular attention paid possible interaction between aminoglycosides (especially Gentamycin) diuretics (Furosemide). We find, however, majority develop symptoms, these are direct result failure itself but due complex blend exogenous endogenous factors. includes only patient who obtained normal after successful transplantation, uremic intoxication migh have been releasing. several frequent occurrence acoustic-vestibular treated peritoneal dialysis, and/or our concerning from nephrological unit, Rigshospitalet.
